August Meeting: Women’s Equality and the Vote

DWWC is happy to announce our first virtual towwnhall of the new season on the timely topic: Women’s Equality and the Vote: We will not be moved! What a great way to commemorate this month’s 100th anniversary of women winning the vote (the 19th Amendment) and North Carolina’s Women’s Equality Day, August 26th, declared by Governor Roy Cooper.

Please join fellow members and guests on August 27th, 6:00 -7:30 pm for fellowship with our guest panelists. Our esteemed guests will discuss the status of women in NC, historical perspectives of women suffrage, the Equal Rights Amendment, and voting rights.
