DWWC is an auxiliary group of the Wake County Democratic Party. With over 350 active members, DWWC is the largest Democratic Women's Club in North Carolina. DWWC volunteers work to support Democrats at every level. During each election cycle, DWWC contributes thousands of dollars to candidates and hosts numerous events to introduce candidates and their positions to hundreds of interested voters - members and guests alike. Fund-raising, voter education and direct support of candidates are good reasons to join the club - but just as important to members is the fellowship and mutual support of women who take active roles in the political life and governance of North Carolina.
